From July 1st to August 31st, HelioArt introduce works from Cracking Art Group to celebrate 33rd Avenuel exhibition in Lotte Avenuel Chamberlain (B2F-4F). Works will be in brilliant colors suitable for summer theme and the subject would be animals like dolphins, penguins, polar bears, etc. These works will reproduce nature in the city center, and it will be installed in the Lotte Avenuel Chamberlain.

 

Cracking Art Group is based on Dadaism, Surrealism and Pop Art, and it consists of 6 artists including: William Sweetlove, Renzo Nucara, Marco Veronese, Carlo Rizzetti, Alex Angi and Kicco. Six of the artists got together as pop group, and Cracking Art Group was formed in Biella, Italy in 1993.

Cracking Art Group emphasis on the social effects of art and passes messages about environmental protection, vitality, overproduction and overconsumption of life. It gives a good representation of what the pursuit of Cracking Art Group in that they are produced though the Cracking process, from the 'oil' that contains a history stepped in nature contains all the properties of natural and artificial, especially that they are dealing with the main material of the plastic work.

 

Cracking Art Group visually shows brilliant colors and fresh images to produce an unique feeling of pleasantness and modern pop-art. Also, it shows a deep philosophical reflection on human existence and on the environment. <Vacation in Avenuel> exhibition expresses fun and aesthetic to give an opportunity to reflect on the social issues as well as fun to watch for modern intellectuals. 

 

 

 

헬리오아트는 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지 롯데 에비뉴엘 전관(B2F-4F)에서 33번째 에비뉴엘 전시 <에비뉴엘에서 바캉스 Vacances a l'Avenuel> 전을 맞이하여 크래킹 아트 그룹(Cracking Art Group)의 작품을 소개한다. 여름 테마에 어울리는 화려한 색감의 돌고래, 펭귄, 북극곰 등 동물을 주제로 한 설치 작품들로 에비뉴엘 전관을 도심 속의 자연으로 재현할 것이다.

 

크래킹 아트 그룹은 다다이즘, 초현실주의, 팝아트 등을 기초로 하여 1993년 이탈리아의 비엘라에서 결성된 팝아트 그룹으로 윌리엄 스윗러브, 렌조 누카라, 마르코 베로네즈, 알렉스 앙기, 카를로 리제티, 키코를 포함한 6명의 작가로 구성되어 있다.

크래팅 아트 그룹은 예술의 사회적 효과를 중시하며 환경 보호에 관한 메시지, 삶의 활력, 과잉 생산과 과소비에 대한 메시지를 전달한다. 특히 이들이 작품의 주재료로 다루고 있는 플라스틱은 자연의 역사를 고스란히 담고 있는 ‘석유’로부터 크래킹 과정을 거쳐 생성되어 자연과 인공의 속성을 모두 담고 있다는 점에서 크래킹 아트 그룹의 추구하는 바를 잘 나타내주고 있다.

 

크래킹 아트 그룹은 시각적으로는 화려한 색감과 신선한 이미지로 특별한 분위기를 보여 주어 팝 아트 특유의 유쾌함과 현대적인 느낌을 연출하는 동시에 인간의 실존과 환경에 대한 깊이 있는 철학적 성찰을 작품에 담아내고 있다. 다소 무거울 수도 있는 사회적인 쟁점들을 유쾌하면서도 심미적으로 표현해 낸다는 점에서 이번 <에비뉴엘에서 바캉스> 전은 현대를 살아가는 지성인들에게 보는 재미는 물론 사회 문제를 성찰하는 기회를 주는 의미 있는 전시가 될 것이다.
